The details:

Gignite is an 8-week incubator for side gigs, passion projects, and hobbies. We provide the time, space, accountability, and inspiration for you to turn those “one day I want to” ideas into real projects.

Those projects could be anything from designing a line of axolotl-themed T-shirts or launching a consulting business, to teaching yourself how to draw or finally finishing reading the book that’s gathering dust on your nightstand, or writing the book that lives in your imagination.

Sign up for Gignite and join a community of doers, explorers, and learners who believe in holding each other accountable for working toward our goals.

The format:

Each week will include a one-hour program followed by up to two hours of uninterrupted productivity time. You’ll have access to electrical outlets, wifi and the camaraderie of other passionate folks finally making time for their projects.

The program will include group discussions on productivity, networking, or finding resources for your project, short activities to build camaraderie and get your creative juices flowing, and a chance to hear from your peers about their projects and their progress.

The goal of the programs is to foster collaboration and connection between members and to have a little fun before we dive into focus time. During focus time, each participant will work on their project independently, but we encourage group members to share their expertise if it would help another participant overcome an obstacle.

The group is limited to 10 participants, including a facilitator. The cost varies with location (see below for details), and is intended to help you prioritize your participation. But here’s the cool thing—to give you even more incentive to come every week, we’ll refund $50 to you if you attend 7 out of 8 weeks. On week 8 we’ll close with a celebration of all we’ve accomplished.

***Small teams of two to three people are also welcome. We will have breakout spaces available for you to collaborate without disturbing other members. You will each need to register individually.
